"But my boyfriend was a sweetheart, and despite us both thinking this would lead to absolutely nothing (as that was what we were used to while dating over 40), two years later, we’re STILL TOGETHER"

He is with YOU after all. I just discovered you and I'm not suprised he would want to stay.

I was a statistic, too. I had the laparascopic myomectomy and had 17, I think, removed. It's been over a decade so I may have the count wrong. But I know it wasn't anywhere near 68! How were you still walking around?! Oh, I was anemic, too, and couldn't get my iron count up fast enough before surgery. I ended up getting a blood transfusion mid-surgery. I'm glad to hear you're feeling much, much better!

Thank you so much. I struggled with anemia too, along with painful cramping (once so bad I called 911), and heavy bleeding. They were little life ruiners!

Evicted my two peaches in 2022 and as of right now I’m not making anymore, but I’m on so many new pills from discovering other things. I’m just glad you found love and relief!

This is so awesome! Congrats on evicting those buggers! 68! Damn! I had one HUGE fibroid and several smaller ones. I considered a myomectomy, but I didn’t want to give them any opportunity to grow back before I went into menopause. In addition, where my fibroids were located, made it so that a myomectomy would be nearly impossible. As it was, I could not have a laparoscopic procedure because my uterus was too large.

I was passing out and barely had the energy to climb the stairs most days. I was so anemic that I was beginning to have heart problems, and basically hemorrhaging for days on end.

I was pale and my lips had no color.

OMG that's horrible. I've been on iron supplements for YEARS now to deal with the chronic anemia. And the bleeding was both ridiculous and embarrassing. I basically abandoned all my non-black colored dresses and pants. I'm so glad you're doing better because fibroids are just huge ruiners of quality of life and will slowly drive you insane.
